PMD Emerger Beadhead

Midges are a common term used to describe any small fly but is more accurately used to refer to several types of specific types of two winged aquatic insects.Excellent pattern when fish are on the surface but not hitting the duns. Trailing shuck and beadhead make this a great pattern to cast upstream, and allow to drift into waiting fish. Tied small in olive or cream, the Beadhead Flashback Barr’s Emerger is one of our favorite patterns for matching the emerger life cycle of the BWO, PMD, Sulphur, and Cahill mayfly families.Hook sizes #14 to #20
